I watch Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. I noticed that the service was not good. First, Caron services was poor, because she needs to be friendly not shouting in front of guests, also it will destroy the business, and the guest will not come back. Mike's problems are he's not very good chef, I think that he's step up and practice the service, so that the guest can be very happy. In the other hand, the menu's needs to be separate from lunch and dinner, and quicker you get.

I watched the Fish and Anchor show recently on BBC television here in the USA. I was flabbergasted by what I saw, I was surprised that Gordon did not just throw up his hands and walk out.
I wonder what the restaurant, is like, now that some time has passed. Leopards can't change their spots, and Caron's attitude is the worst I've ever seen for an entrepreneur, she acts more like the ex boxer.
Anyway, good job Gordon, for as long as it's able to last, you did your best, the rest is up to Mike, and Caron.
                                                                   Mike in Texas, USA

Someone else seems to have bought it and cleared up the weeds outside. Although the name has gone there are indications that it is now open for business. Though it seems very odd that someone is trying to make a business there and hasn't bothered to put up a sign that says either "Open For Business" or that it is a restaurant. At the moment they attract people by hoping someone will knock on the door of what looks like a farmhouse and ask for a meal.

I've been watching Gordon Ramsay's shows since the beginning. A week with him can be a cathartic experience if you allow yourself to be open to his ideas.....I think he is very savvy to the field of which he is a integral part of. Asking him for help , then not taking it, such as is indicated in a number of his kitchen nightmare shows, to me, shows how ignorant and closed minded so many people are to change, even when they had implored him to come and help them out of their current money losing restaurants.

Note that the big Fish N Anchor name has gone from the outside. Why do you think that is?

As soon as the cameras left they were back at it.

Lampeter is a small place and the reputation was already appalling. I missed the day they took the tractor out, and so did most other people who were at work. We knew nothing about the TV prog until it was out. Too little, too late. It was branded as a hole run by howlers.

Furthermore the couple weren't from around here so no real local support was drummed up.

Perhaps Ramsay's TV prog should do 15 mins each on "one year later".
